Policy Statement of Ár mBréacha

Ár mBréacha aims to restore and promote traditional Irish Storytelling.  We dedicate ourselves to working and actively participating in an atmosphere in which storytelling can take place.  We also believe, and therefore promote, music, song and dance as an essential part of the Irish story.  We will assist each and every group who shares our vision and make our facilities available to them.

We believe that storytelling, song and dance will empower and enrich our future. 

We place great emphasis on Irish hospitality and welcome as traditional ways of enriching the quality of our own lives and the life of our visitor or the stranger.

We welcome all other peoples and all other cultures to come and participate with us, bringing their own song, story and dance.  We acknowledge the unifying force of song, story and dance in Ireland’s diverse cultures, seeing in them a unique self expression individually, and an enriching unity when performed together.
