There will be a real Treashing Free tea and refreshments Free entery childrens races and medals awarded Bread baking on an open fire as in the old days AND plenty more. The winter is now dissapearing we hope as we continue into our spring.We believe a custom that the crows start to build on the 1st. of march, we look foreward to see if this is true.My grandmother used to tell us that a good goose starts to lay on candlemass day February 2nd.Well at Armbreacha we do have crows but unfortunetly we have no geese.But the daffodils are growing and we will soon have lovely colour and we look foreward to our storytelling night on tuesday next with all the freshness of spring.

This is indeed a special time In this special time we are having our STORY TELLING NIGHT ON TUESDAY NIGHT THE

–FOURTH OF NOVEMBER– 4 of Novemer.This will commence at 8pm.Like all our storytelling nights we always await our visitors , people like yourself, and then we begin.We never know how the night will turn out but one thing is certain no two night have been the same in over twenty years.

Why is this a special time? Because when St Patrick arrived among us , he found that our ancestors were full of fear at this time ,so many images of the other world of wild looking spirits, demons witches wizards etc.St. Patrick told them of what christ had done.So they changed to giving attention to the sainst ,,people who are now happy in heaven , and celebrate with them and to pray for the ppeople who have died and are still on their way to Jesus

This month is our busy month as we are open for every Tuesday for the month of August. So do visit us and bring a friend along with you.

We had a wonderfull night last night Tuesday the 5thof August.We had our usual group with people from the locality from other part of Ireland from Dublin ,the liberties and also Spain.

If you feel like bringing a musical instrument alon we would love to see you and hear you as well.
